Advantages: Great for the kid's, 3 in 1 = kid's park, zoo and adult rides

Disadvantages: Not sure...perhaps its a bit expensive, or am i juist a scrooge?

The bonus about this place is that it has 3 attractions, it's a theme park with adult rides, has something for the kid's with Thomas land and a mini zoo rolled into one, I guess really this place will suit families more than the thrill seekers out there. One of the really great things about the park for me was that there wasn't the endless queuing that there usually in these sort of places.

It's a bit on the expensive side, however if you search the internet you'll definitely find some offers for cheaper admission. Adult Ticket usually £25.00, Child £21.00 & Under 4's go free.

Thomas Land is great and the nephew absolutely loved it, endless smiles all day long and a very happy little one indeed. There are plenty off mini rides here to keep kids well happy, they'll absolutely love you for bringing them here, and they just can't get enough. The great thing is that there is even a mini rollercoaster for the kids! The main theme park (adult rides) was ok, enough decent rides to keep an avid thrill seeker going, but if that's what you're looking for and it's the main reason for the visit then head elsewhere.

The zoo I think didn't really appeal to me but again, my nephew was in awe of it, a good range of animals (but no lions) overall it was a well presented zoo and didn't take forever to get through it. A word of caution here though, if you are coming to Drayton manor expecting a impressive zoo, or if the main reason for coming is the zoo, then don't, it isn't the best and you may be better off going to a proper zoo.

There is a wonderful array of places to eat, plenty of choice and I guess reasonable prices considering it's a theme park.

Drayton manor is definitely recommended if you have a young family, they will love it and be sooo pleased and happy that you took them there. As mentioned the bonus is the fact that for kid's, there is so much to do. Usually at theme park's kids are either forgotten about or have to make do with a crappy little section in the corner of a theme park, this placed kind of prides itself of "considering the kid's".

Summary: Definately worth a visit if you have a small familly
