Advantages: Tikibad a very good standard indoor pool

Disadvantages: the park in terms of safety or rides, staff, and general cleanness if the park

Duinrell a park which you have to see for your self to come to know if you like it or not.

This is a statement I normally do NOT give but it is very much true as Duinrell has many positive points but more negative points !

Duinrell is a park that is build in the most expensive property place in Holland ( wassenaar)
But, thats it.

After going in to the park you get a nice impression. Nice people, good food, a lot of attractions, and a wonderfull swimming pool.

The swimming pool called 'Tikibad'
Is one of the best swimming pools in Holland With two 'Space bowls' a 'fly over' new 'Jacouzy' a 'Lazy River' ' Wet dancing' and there glides called Blits and Flitz you have more that 500 meter of gliding pleasure at high speeds.

Tikibad is with all these facilities and more concidered a good day out for the family.

BUT,

The park was after inspection of a independent research center ( this was published in the newspapers! ) ' The most dissapointing service, saftey and healt records in the history of themeparks in Holland !!!!!!


Twinkels a major .com with there outstanding research team went to check out the park under cover entering park as guest it conducted on diffrant days the park.

The result was like the information on black and white.
The toilets were not at all clean in a metter of fact the flushing system was not working for a week ( image the scene )
The staff was not conserned and were not looking after the guests and saftey!
The rides were not at all updated and mainly empty.

The conlusion was that Duinrell has a excellent pool that is worth for the day ut but please forget the park.

Duinrell refused a interview with Twinkels after showing
them the pictures and details.
The only said that the are trying to improve it.

With a revenue of FL. 10.7 million guilders
and
1.193.000 visitors in the last year Duinrell is facing major problems as the other themeparks in Holland ( De efteling and Six flags ) have outstanding reputation and a name with research companies ( including Twinkels who rated Efteling the best park of 2000 in Holland.) are making double the revenue!


Duinrell's slogan is: 'Duinrell daar kikker je van op!' That means: 'Duinrell that makes you fresh!' ( ruff translation )

We can say that all depends where you go in Duinrell! ( please look at other parks and then decide what Duinrell advertises a lot they have what the do not advertise is forgotten!
