Advantages: Great rides, something for everyone

Disadvantages: Prices

Just spent a 2 week holiday in rhodes and decided to visit the waterpark to pass a day on the island after getting a bit bored with consistently lying by the beach!

To be honest, having visited waterparks in both italy and spain, i didnt really expect that much. I didnt particularly enjoy these visits but i realise now that those waterparks were absolutely tiny compared to the great standard of that at faliraki!

For those who are feeling daredevelish! (not sure if thats even a word)! There's massive vertical waterslides which you can absolutely fly down and its a real adrenalin buzz! One of them goes inside a small tunnel and you can actually feel yourself coming off the slide and into the air.

For others feeling slightly less daring theres a host of otherslides, including a multiple race slide which allows you to race your mates which is always good for a laugh! Theres also a slow river which allows you to bob round peacefully whilst soaking up the sun of the hill topped location of the waterpark.

Theres also a great area available for kids, with a massive flan liked object in the middle for them to climb up, with a constant stream of water trying to push them down! I really wanted a go but at 19 thought i was a bit too old for that!

One downside is that i would definately recommend bringing your own picnic, as food at the site is extremely pricey, especially for greece, and its about 5 euro for a sandwich you could make yourself for a tenth of the price!

However, i cant recommend the waterpark more, its fairly pricey to get in, but its definately a full day out and something different to add to your holiday.

Summary: Alternative to laying on the beach!
