Fantasy Island SkegnessNewest Review: ... and suggested a combined trip to Skegness and Ingoldmells, which I agreed to. We went to Ingoldmells first and having not been there for a few years, I can do nothing to hide my disappointment. Fantasy Island (and Ingoldmells in general) is everything you'd expect from a seaside resort - awful, tacky and full of the UK's underclasses... you know the type - plain white sleeveless t-shirts, ... more |

I'm gonna admit it right from the start - I'm a snob. English seaside resorts are below me, I'd much rather be lapping up the sunshine in Tenerife or Barbodos than enduring the sewage-infested waters of the British coast. However, despite this, I've just come back from a day in Ingoldmells and Skeggy and I can honestly say that Ingoldmells is an absolute craphole. With the warm weather we've had in the last couple of days, the wife wanted to spend some time together and suggested a combined trip to Skegness and Ingoldmells, which I agreed to. We went to Ingoldmells first and having not been there for a few years, I can do nothing to hide my ... Read the complete review

If there are two words that sum up the summer holidays for me it is these two....."I'm Bored!" During the summer holidays we like to take the children out and about as much as possible. Not only is it a great opportunity to spend quality time together as a family, it also means that the kids argue less and as I am usually the unofficial referee, I am all in favour of that. Deciding where to go is always a difficult decision. My youngest likes nothing more than bouncing around in the sea for hours on end, showing off to every female that wanders past. My eldest though thinks she has outgrown the beach and would prefer the thrills of Alton Towers ... Read the complete review

Fantasy Island is a multi award winning family visitor attraction and holiday destination. Most of the complex is inside a huge glass and metallic pyramid shaped building towering over Lincolnshire?s seascape. The pyramid looks very small from the outside, but as soon as you go inside (wow) It?s huge!!! It is located down Sea Lane in Ingoldmels, which is a few miles away from Lincolnshire?s top resorts - Funcoast World (Butlins holiday camp) and Skegness (popular seaside resort). It doesn?t matter whether it is a sunny day or a rainy day, as there will always be something for everyone either inside or outside. The entrance to Fantasy Island is awesome. The front of ... Ingoldmells is a great little place just outside of skegness on the Lincolnshire coast line. I must have been coming here for around 15 years now and many things have changed in that time. I can remember when I first started coming as a very young lad the place itself was just a load of caravan’s by the coast and a few amusement arcades and of course pubs. But over the last few years things have changed a great deal. This is mostly down to a company called Blue Anchor leisure they have built many things to help Ingoldmells become a great leisure attraction. One of the main things a tourist resort needs is good affordable accommodation and ingoldmells has ... Read the complete review

Italia in Miniatura
Something quite different to the usual theme park. A nice day out for the family.
Seems made only for Italians - lack of English on signs etc. Bit pricey.
