Flamingo Land is the UK's only Theme Park, Zoo and Holiday Village; it is a great place to visit. It is set in 375 acres of North Yorkshire parkland. It is situated at Kirby Misperton, Malton, North Yorkshire.

Flamingo land is a great day out for all the family from young to old there is something there for everyone.

* Holiday village

The holiday village is ideal if you fancy a longer stay; there is mixture of accommodation from log cabins, gold holiday homes, and silver holiday homes, which all come with 2 to 3 bedrooms.

The rides in flamingo land do come with height restrictions these are all displayed on each ride, my children always use to stand on their tip toes to try and get on the larger rides when they were younger.(it never worked) lol

There is a variety of rides to suit all ages, but sometimes the queues can be large,

*family rides. Wild mouse, dodgems, splash battle to name a few.

*X-treme rides. Velocity, cliff hanger,corkscrew,the navigator,circulater,kumali.

*Kids rides.Tea cups, splish splash, junior roundabouts and many more.

There is also a lot of water rides which can leave you drenched so its advisable to take a towel.

The zoo is a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustles of the shows, with mammals, birds and reptiles, there is a sea lion show as well, but this is at set times so you need to carefully plan your day, There is also lots of other entertainment on, so it really is a fun packed day.

There is plenty of places to get food, but I always go prepared and take a picnic, which you can leave in the car till you need it, this means leaving the park, but this is not a problem as when you leave you get your hand stamped so you can return

Overall flamingo land is a great day out, the only advice I would give anybody wishing to go would be set off very early to get value for money, and try and avoid the queues, the traffic does tail back if you hit it at the wrong time. It really is a great family day out.
