Advantages: Not too expensive, good for little ones, christmas events

Disadvantages: A little shabby in areas

As a mum of 3 daughters who only lives 15 minutes drive from gullivers world I have been there many times and have always found it to be value for money(entrance fee that is would recommend you take your own food as it certainly adds up), all 3 of my children have enjoyed it from the age of 2 to around the age of 10, my eldest two who are now 10 and 12 find it a little boring now so the last 2 times we have been we have only took the youngest andtook the elder two somewhere more appropriate for there age. The rides are great for little ones as there are plenty that they can go on we even took our 20 month old on the log flume last year and she loved it although this year at aged 2 1/2 she was more wary and her favourite ride was the pirate ship. I have been at all times of year including the christmas special 4 years running when my older two were younger most years we were lucky enough for it to be dry so most of the rides were open and the train ride and grotto were fantastic, but the year it rained we found they put on lots of extra inside activites such as a magic show in the indoor picninc area and punch and judy shows etc. I have to say though when we went this year everywhere looked a bit faded and there were lots of places that needed work, on the tomb raider type ride the guns to shoot the red lights didn't work and the on the dora the explorer trail not all the clues and stamp machines worked, however I felt the staff were working very hard to cheer the kids up on a bit of a rainy day. There is some work going on at the moment on a splash park and some other rides, so maybe when these are done they will work on doing up the existing areas.
All in all a good day out which is less expensive than some of the larger theme parks and more suited to younger children, can definately recommend the christmas experience although do take some food or be prepared to buy some as the food included is one small Turkey barm, a plate of chips between a table of around 10 and a small mince pie definately not enough to fill my lot up on a cold winter day.

Summary: a good day out for littlte ones-Take your own food!!!
