One of Cornwall's best days out (Holywell Bay Fun Park)

Holywell Bay fun park is, in my opinion, one of the best places in Cornwall for a fun filled family day out. There really is something for everyone.

The park has a wide variety of activities including a maze, crazy golf, a climbing wall, go-karts and boats. There is also an indoor play area for younger children as well as a golf course and a pitch 'n' putt course. All of the activities are great fun and it is easy to spend a good few hours at the park without getting bored.

The park operates a token system, with each activity costing a certain number of tokens. I feel that this is one of the main downsides of the park as the tokens are quite expensive and things such as go karting costs a lot of money for the couple of minutes that you actually spend in the go kart.

Another downside is that the park can get quite busy which means that you can spend a long time waiting around on the more popular attractions such as the go karts, crazy golf and pitch 'n' putt course.

Despite these downsides to the park, I still believe that it is a fantastic day out. It is colourful and attractive to children and a number of the attractions are equally inviting to adults. It is certainly a fun filled place with a lot to do.

Another advantage is the location of the park, as it is just 10 minutes away from the wonderful Holywell Bay beach. This is a large beach with sand dunes and is the perfect place to spend the afternoon after having fun at the park. A great day out all round!
