Advantages: The ride is so smooth

Disadvantages: If they only run 1 car the line can be long

Kraken is a steel floorless roller coaster at SeaWorld Orlando. The coaster opened in 2000 and was the first floorless roller coaster in the Southern United States. The ride also held the record as the longest roller coaster in the state of Florida at 4,177 ft until the completion of Expedition Everest at Disney's Animal Kingdom. The ride is placed and the back left hand side of the park and can be seen from anywhere in the park. Also when driving towards the park you can see the first hill from the interstate.
Kraken is named after a mythological sea monster. SeaWorld's pictured the kraken as a giant dragon eel. Sea world created a giant sculpture of the kraken as the attractions entrance. The creature's colours are also continued over to the ride itself. The track is sky blue, with beige supports.
The roller coaster's layout was designed from its characteristics. It is located alongside a lagoon, referring to its aquatic habitat. The coaster dives underground three times, a nod to the caverns and crevasses that it would call home. The ride has three trains, each have eight cars, with each car carrying four guests sitting side-by-side. That is a total of 32 passengers per train. The only problem is that at low season sometimes only 1 train is running so it's not the fastest turn around.
Kraken has a high 149 first drop which is a straight dive in to a 119-foot-tall vertical loop. This is a fast adrenalin pumping start to a great ride. The View at the top of the ride is breath taking. The ride goes through 7 inversions and reaches a max speed of 65mph.
This in my mind is the best coaster in Florida. If you have the nerve to do this ride you must.

Summary: Great Ride
