Advantages: none that I can think of.

Disadvantages: A Waste of time and money.

We first visited legoland last year where we were persuaded to buy an annual pass. This was mistake number 1. We were met with 2 hour waits for most rides, the carousel queue was larger than the viking river slpash at one and half hours. We tried to go on the jungle coaster but were informed that we had to have allocated time slots but these had now all gone. come back at 5pm and queue and you will get on. We went back at 5 to be told people had been queuing since 3 and we wouldnt get on. Being brave we thought we would go again when the park was hopefully a bit quieter. We went yesterday, opening weekend and mothers day and as we had hoped the park didnt even seem half as full as in the summer, however, early in the morning we collected our time slot for the jungle coaster and the children managed to go through driving school with no queue. We then tried boating school. There was a 30minute time slot where we started however after lots of people with qbots came the wait was more like 50 minutes. It then felt that every ride we tried had queues of 30mins or more as they were only running half of the wave surfer and not as many boats etc on the other rides. The rides would break down and noone would tell you for ages. 1 ride broke down and after 2hrs the staff tried to get people to sing if your happy and you know it!!perhaps some information would have been better!
We had to run across the park to get to the jungle coaster, with my husband taking our 4yr old to get our lunch(she was too small for the ride) before our timeslot expired, there are no allowances for being stuck in another queue. In some ways this was useful as we have three children who were too small to go on their own(not a problem at other parks) so we have to split our family on the rides in order to get us all on.To top it off when the rides closed at 6pm we missed one by about a minute and although the attendant was running it for the people in the queue already he told us and another lady that we couldnt take our children on even though it was only half full. We then had to queue at guest services for half an hour to speak to someone who took our details and said they would contact us in 2 weeks. Great customer care there! We had been thinking about several return trips to get the most from our passes, sadly I think that this would be a huge mistake. as I feel that they have forgotten why they are there. They only seem intersted in taking your money, not about giving good value for it, and as for being child friendly, I dont think so. By the time our 9year old is big enough to go by himself(he is small for his age) he will want to go to other parks instead. The only good spot was Johnny Thunder and the Aztec Queen.

Summary: If you want a fun day out in london avoid this place. They dont care about their guests.

Good start.

Do take note of the advice you have already been given if you want higher rates.

Hi, welcome to dooyoo. A good first review, but I would have liked to read more information about the actual rides, prices, food available, etc. For what it's worth I worked at Legoland a few years ago and it was one of the best jobs I've ever had - I loved every minute of it! Sorry to hear you didn't feel the same
