Advantages: plenty to do for all the family

Disadvantages: the waiting times for rides, on occasions

I live fairly near to legoland and so have been there several times with my son who is seven years old. On all the occasions when we have been, the queues at the entrance have not been too bad.
My sons favouite ride has to be Viking Splash. Its a water ride, with some rapids. You are more than likely to get wet, but think that for children, this adds to the fun even more!!!!!
There are many rides which have been carefully thought out, so that there are rides for very small children as well as for older children too.
The driving school is also a firm favourite, as there is an option for younger and older children. Waiting for these, can take a while in peak season but my son thinks its worth it.
There are many places to eat picnics, and also food outlets.
The gift shops are great for children who want to build on their lego collections.

Summary: a great day out for all the family
