healthy and safety land (Legoland Windsor)
Member Name: yummymummy100
Advantages: good variety, lots of toilets Disadvantages: healthy and safety have spoiled all the fun
Lego-land was not what i was expecting, which was a shame, the model town was really tired looking but i guess i would look tired if i had stood out in the rain for the same amount of time. The queues were ok, but we did go during school time (as i have pre school children) so that made all the difference. However i did feel that that health and safety had gone a bit over the top. For example my rugby playing husband went on a very small merry go round with our daughter but was told he could only go on the ride if he strapped himself on to the horse....it made me laugh because the strap was too small for him so he had move horses to find a bigger strap. The food choices that i came across were all fairly unhealthy so would recommend if you care about their health to bring your own.... the idea of a cup that you can refill with coke as much as you want disgusting and encourages childhood obesity.... have they not realised children are not good at self monitoring. Maybe they should consider water fountains? Summary: Not worth the money but fine if you have half price tickets |
