LEgoland Windsor - Fantastic treat for the family (Legoland Windsor)

Advantages: Great fun and entertainment for all the family.

Disadvantages: Very pricey and none of the LEGO characters - BATMAN, STAR WARS

As a final treat for my son before he started school we decided to take all the family to legoland. We used our clubcard points to enable us to purchase our entry tickets so that we did not need to take out a small mortgage for a day out. These places can be very expensive, with entry costs, drinks, lunch, ice creams, treats etc etc. We also decided to go outside school holidays so we would not get caught up in large queues. as 2 children under the age of four do not have a great patience. There are lots of leago statues and models to look out for around the site, whilst in cues. But unfortunately they do not have any of the characters you would expect of Legoland eg. BATMAN, STAR WARS etc. So my son was a little dissappointed with this. But it did not effect his overall enjoyment!

But it has to said everyone had a great day out, despite the weather! Unfortunately we were haunted by showers, but in no way did this dampen the spirts.

We went on the
- Pirate ship
- helicopters
- lego cars
- hot air balloons
- The JCB diggers
- Roller coaster

We had lunch at one of the local eateried on the site, but I would highly recomend taking your own lunch as it is very expensive for not alot of quality and if you don;t like chips, burgers, hot dogs the choices are fairly limited.

Unfortunately tho we did not save enough time to look around the miniature Lego models of london (Buckingham palace, london eye, gherkin bulding), Holland, paris etc Which were all done in amazing detail, but we had to rush around as they were anouncing park closure.

I have never been in peak time, I highly reccomend trying to go out of school holidays
