A Great day out for young children (and their parents!) An expensive day out but there was loads to do. The park had rides that pre schoolers could go on with parents. There was lego every where, the adults enjoyed marveling at the time ti must have taken do make the modles, the kids enjoyed the watching the moving modles. It was a bit of a trek for us down to Windsor from Yorkshire however our trip to Legoland was worth every minute. We went with friends and we both have pre-schoolers aged 2.5 and 3 so I was slightly aprehensive about what the suitability of the attractions would be for this age range, I needn't have been concerned however! Out of the ...  Read the complete review

It is quite surprising that, since we only live about twenty minutes away from Legoland, Windsor, that yesterday was the first time that we had taken our six and four year old daughters for a visit! I think this was partly because it is quite an expensive place to visit, but also because I didn't want the girls becoming too caught up with all the ...  Read the complete review

We visited this year at the height of the summer holidays.A day out at Legoland is expensive, but on each occasion we've been the park has been very busy, which think speaks for itself. However if you want to avoid paying around £100 for a family of 4, do plan in advance and use your Tesco clubcard vouchers, making it very affordable.Another top ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Legoland Windsor: Good fun, may cost but children will love (344 words)
by - written on 10/09/09 (Useful, 21 readings)

Legoland Windsor is great fun, it's one of those places where there is something for everyone. The park was massive, so although it can cost a lot, there is a lot to see. I think they have probably added a lot in the last few years as comparing the Windsor park online with the original in Billund in Denmark, there seems to be about the same amount ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review LEgoland Windsor - Fantastic treat for the family (321 words)

As a final treat for my son before he started school we decided to take all the family to legoland. We used our clubcard points to enable us to purchase our entry tickets so that we did not need to take out a small mortgage for a day out. These places can be very expensive, with entry costs, drinks, lunch, ice creams, treats etc etc. We also ...  Read the complete review

Express Review on Legoland Windsor
by Scumbag - written on 03/09/09
Rating:

Fantastic but take some food & drinks as you will feel depressed by the prices which makes the overall visit (petrol, stops on the way there and back etc) mighty expensive. Even if you just take some it will give you a good feeling.

Finding that onions are 40p extra on a Hot Dog of £3.30 is no joke especially when its hardly edable (cheapest rolls you have ever tasted). £2 for 750ml of water.

If you are really smart take a small lego present with you to bribe the kids away from the shops which sell it at full RRP.

LEGOLAND!!!!!!!!!!! That's all I heard on our hour drive to Windsor! We traded in our Tesco points for some Full Annual Passes. Couldn't be happier with that as I and my older son got in free, the baby was free and the only thing left was to pay for my other half. If any of you have been to Legoland before you will know that normal ...  Read the complete review

**About and Location** Legoland is situated just outside of Windsor, Berkshire. It is a family orientated theme park primarilly for families with children aged 3-12. It stretches over 150 acres. It is very close to Ascot (around a ten minute drive). It is one hour away from London and 25 minutes from London's Heathrow airport. The park ...  Read the complete review

First of all, I have to admit that I am a bit of a snob when it comes to theme parks. I don't like crowds, queuing, fast food or ball pools. Readers of some of my previous reviews will know that (whether by nature or nurture...) I'm lucky enough to have kids who aren't all that keen on these things either! I mention this because I think we are ...  Read the complete review

If you like the idea of spending £130 for a family of 4 and then queuing for 90% of your time in the park, to go on rides which are second rate, Legoland is for you.

I have to give this 'attraction' 1 star because zero is not available

We were looking for a good value short break within the UK for 4 adults and 2 children, both aged 6, when we stumbled upon a deal with Legoland Windsor. We stayed in a luxury apartment for 3 nights, Tue - Fri, 1 day Legoland tickets including Q-bot for £495.00. This did however include a NHS discount and the regular price was around £550. I have been going to Legoland for the last 10 years with my children and must have clocked up about 15 visits over this time. The last few occasions have been in school holidays or on summer INSET days which have been very busy and have left vowing never to return! I can still remember a few early visits when the queues were short and the rides ...  Read the complete review

Lego-land was not what i was expecting, which was a shame, the model town was really tired looking but i guess i would look tired if i had stood out in the rain for the same amount of time. The queues were ok, but we did go during school time (as i have pre school children) so that made all the difference. However i did feel that that health and ...  Read the complete review

A good friend of ours working for a popular burger chain was recently able to..ahem.... Legoland, Windsor is a Lego-themed park with a wide variety of rides and attractions. After the success of our trip to Thomas Land at Drayton Manor last October, we decided that we would treat our two year old to a day at Legoland this week, especially as my husband and I have always secretly wanted to go there. The park is designed predominantly ...  Read the complete review

We went along in the low season. It was my first family theme park visit and we grossly under estimated the time we were going to spend queing. Fortunately, my young son wasn't old enough for the rides with the longest queues but it was still pretty bad. The park itself is amazing however. Nestled in a valley with Windsor in the distance it is a ...  Read the complete review

I live fairly near to legoland and so have been there several times with my son who is seven years old. On all the occasions when we have been, the queues at the entrance have not been too bad. My sons favouite ride has to be Viking Splash. Its a water ride, with some rapids. You are more than likely to get wet, but think that for children, ...  Read the complete review

Living pretty close to Legoland means that we've visited a few times, and each time has been excellent. With kids aged 2 and 4 the place is just right in terms of plenty of rides that are age appropriate. They've loved the storybook boat ride, the fire station and the helicopter pilot rides, and even on a saturday in May none of these have ...  Read the complete review
