Living pretty close to Legoland means that we've visited a few times, and each time has been excellent. With kids aged 2 and 4 the place is just right in terms of plenty of rides that are age appropriate. They've loved the storybook boat ride, the fire station and the helicopter pilot rides, and even on a saturday in May none of these have ... Read the complete review

We first visited legoland last year where we were persuaded to buy an annual pass. This was mistake number 1. We were met with 2 hour waits for most rides, the carousel queue was larger than the viking river slpash at one and half hours. We tried to go on the jungle coaster but were informed that we had to have allocated time slots but these had ... Legoland is a fantastic theme park with the added benefit of having so many things made of Lego. While the kids in our group (aged 7 and 9) really enjoyed the rides and other activities, I was fascinated by the seemingly endless variety of Lego creations on display. Apart from Miniworld where so many real buildings had their Lego counterparts, the ... Read the complete review

I have only been to Legoland Windsor once with my husband and two children who were 3 and 4 at the time. Firstly we didn't pick a great day to go it was a last minute thing and although it wasn't raining at the time we left it soon did and then it was too late to turn back as the kids were too excited. Legoland isnt too far from our ... Read the complete review

I've been to Legoland in Windsor twice over the last 5 years. Both were great experiences. At Legoland there are many games and rides you can become involved in. It mainly suits children aged between 3-12 who can get involved with over 50 interactive rides, live shows, building workshops, driving schools and attractions. However there ... I went here very recently with my family and it has to be one of the best day's out we have ever had. As you enter the park there are little lego pieces dotted around in the shape of the alphabet spelling out the Word Legoland and my son who is 5 and just learning to read had great fun spotting all the letters. There is a huge car park ... Read the complete review

Words fail me. Where do I start? What a tired and sad looking communist era amusement park. We went for the Star Wars spectacular...OMG! the Star Wars characters, bless them, were obviously forced into dressing up as they were a motley crew at best, not out of place in a care in the community scheme. Ill fitting and cheap costumes, just rubbish. ... Read the complete review

Using Merlin passes, we decided to travel from the Midlands to Windsor for Lego Land. Getting there finding massive queues to get tickets for the barriers. Finally getting into the park, it was packed and we worked our way around the park finding the part for the little ones, which is where we started, and then carried on to find queues ... We are a family 2 adults and 2 children. We promissed our son we would take him to lego land for his 5th brithday. We arrived there nice and early the ques were not as long as I thought they would be but the admission prices were quite steep. It was £35 per adult and another £25 per child. Once we were inside we rented another gadget called a ... Read the complete review

We (2 adults and 3 children) went on a mid-September Saturday with good weather. It was fantastically overcrowded. They have recently introduced a `Q-Bot' electronic queuing system. This is £10 per person (i.e. would have been a wopping extra £50 for us). Without this, if you want to go on the popular rides then you need to stick to the first and ... Read the complete review

Summary: 'rip-off'. Entry is £35 per adult & £25 for kids. Drinks : £1.90 for water. small popcorn/candy floss : £2.30. two kid's nugget meals and two burgers £20.
We arived at 9.30, first que for tickets, 20 mins, but that doesn't get you in yet!. So then a second que to get through the turn-style, another 20 minutes. That set the scene really...and we spent the whole day in one que or another.
Rides opened at 10am and closed at 7pm; how many rides do you reckon we managed - 7 (yep only seven!) (and that was without stopping except for 1/2 hr lunch).
Even the basic toddler rides were 30min wait; with a whopping 2hrs for the (naff) log flume. We couldn't even get near the 'top attractions' (rollercoaster/drivingschool/etc).
They simply let too many people into the park and the whole place came to a stand still.

My son is due to start school this year, and we thought that for a treat we would take him to Legoland Windsor. Having been there as a child when it was Windsor Safari Park, I had fond memories and was hoping that William (my son) would enjoy a big day out at a theme park. Before we went, I scoped out what we were getting ourselves in for by ... Read the complete review

much better value to go to a travelling fairground and pay as you go.

We went to LegoLand Windsor yesterday... myself, wife, 9 yr old and 11yr old. Paying £88.00 for the four tickets through lastminute.com we saved a lot of money (about £38 which at least covered our petrol and some food). When we got there it had just opened ten minutes earlier and the queue to get in was about three minutes. The park ... Read the complete review

1st of all massive queues, then just crowds of people around not knowing where to go as we had all been told that all of the adult rides are closed! Most of the rides are for the kids (under 13) but there are a few for adults but there are only a few good ones for adults and teens. Finally getting on to a small boat ride, and then ... Utterly usesless theme park. DO NOT visit during the holidays. They open there doors to absolutely as many people as they can squeeze in, even though they have X amount of rides with Y amount of places. The result is that queue times soar to 90 min averages on pretty much every ride. I went with family, and 10 of us spent the entire day queuing and frustrated. We spent 200 pounds and went of 3 petty rides, which to be honest are not much greater than your average travellling fairground rides.
The ONLY time worth visiting such a place is during school time.

Many years ago I visited Legoland in Denmark with my eldest son when he was just 7 years old. We thoroughly enjoyed the day but such was his excitement I seemed to spend the entire day trying to find where he had gone to next. The park was completely multinational and seemed to have visitors from all over Europe. An inescapable factor in this was ... Read the complete review

We visited Legoland in Windsor as a family just last week. In our part there was me, the Mrs, our daughter and her 4yr old son. Mainly we went for the grandson's benefit but we quite enjoyed ourselves too, especially me because I'm a big fan of Lego! I loved it when our three were little and I still love it now the grandson is getting into ... Read the complete review

We went to Legoland with complimentary tickets. Thank god we didn't have to pay. We were greeted by huge queues to pay (luckily we by-passed these), followed by huge queues to get through the ticket barrier, and then huge queues for everything inside except the gents toilets. Legoland's "main" rides are akin to the 'side-attractions' at other theme parks. Queues for these rides were ridiculously long. Staffing levels are totally inadequate, and most seem thoroughly miserable. The park was heaving with people as Legoland have no 'maximum occupancy' - if your happy to pay, they'll let you in. In a 4-hour stay, we went on one ride - the kids 'balloon-ride' and spent the rest of the time squeezing through the miserable-looking crowds, until we gave up and left early. I feel sorry for anyone who goes to this place and actually pays for it. AVOID.
