Advantages: Lots and lots to do for all the family

Disadvantages: Adverse weather could pose a problem

Once again my family and I set off to see the wonders of Somerset and once again, we saw an offer we couldn't pass up. Longleat Safari Park attracted our attention and we decided to go and check out the admission prices. We were pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the charges were and decided Somerset would, once again, have to wait until another day. I must say this rated as one of the best family days out we had all summer. The kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves, not only in the safari park with a fabulous range of wildlife, but also just roaming around the vast grounds there. We took a boat trip to gorilla island and were treated to a perfectly posed silver-back gorilla - wonderful. The sheer joy on our faces as we hand fed the deer. Absolute magic. Lots to do and lots to see. Will be taking another day out there again soon.
