WHAT IS MAGIC KINGDOM?
Magic Kingdom. Opened in 1971, This is a theme park based on the Disney Theme.
------------------------------------------------- ----------------------
LOCATION
Walt Disney World® Resort is located southwest of Orlando, off Interstate 4, west of the Florida Turnpike. Follow direction to Magic kingdom, very easy once on Disney property.
Magic Kingdom is the Park that is the furthest away from the main highway and hotels.
From Disney all stars hotel and downtown disney a bus trip took approx 20 minutes.
------------------------------------------------- ----------------------
PRICE
Our price was included with our hotel etc. which makes it difficult for me to say if admission is cheap or expensive. I would recommend getting all in its less hassle.
OPENING TIMES
Please check out the Disney world main website for these as these change on a daily basis depending on time of year and events. We picked up the times from our hotel and were updated on a regular basis. Remember if your staying on site they have some days which you can get in an hour early or stay late.

THE PARK
My Magic Kingdom Review is based on my Two Holidays here, June 2004 and Nov 2005. We have a future Holiday planned to Disney Nov 2007, we are saving very hard :)
Disney as a whole package is just a wonderful place to be but Magic Kingdom just tops the Charts.
Magic Kingdom has 7 areas, all which circle Cinderallas castle, which acts like a centre piece.
The areas are outlined below:
MAIN STREET, U.S.A.- This is the first area you will see when entering the park and takes you right up to the Castle. This area is mainly shop related.
ADVENTURELAND - This Area is based on general advertures through the world. Here you will meet Pirates and go on a jungle trip.
FRONTIERLAND - This area is the wide west with cowboys and more adventura.
LIBERTY SQUARE - Based on the American history.
FANTASYLAND - Very typical disney area with plenty of magic, children will love the area.
TOMORROWLAND - This area is about Space and the future.
MICKEY'S TOONTOWN FAIR- This is the newest area and is a small town fair all based on mickey and his friends. You can visit Mickey here.

THE RIDES + SHOWS
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad - A cool run away mine train, this is amazing at night.
Country Bear Jamboree - audio-animatronic bears attraction, good if you want to sit down but my children got bored.
Splash Mountain - A log flume with a Twist, follow the story of Brier rabbit and is friends before you DROP.
Tom Sawyer Island - You reach this island by raft, my children loved exploring this island, some of the tunnels are very dark.
Jungle Cruise - A boat takes you through the jungle with animatronic Animals, the humour of the guide makes this extra special.
Pirates of the Caribbean - Another boat ride where you go on a pirates journey. Very calm ride, can be load at the gun battle.
Haunted Mansion - This is not as scary as it sounds, trust me i don't do scary. You will ridedoom buggies for a tour of the mansion.
Liberty Belle Riverboat - Calm nice trip on a riverboat, good for tired feet.
Swiss Family Treehouse - If you don't like heights avoid. You climb up the tree by steps and bridges.
Magic Carpets of Aladdin - Fly on magic carpets and encounter the spitting camel.
Cinderella's Golden Carousel - Typical Carousel ride which for some reason the children are always attracted to, i watched while they rode it about 20 times.
Dumbo The Flying Elephant - You have to have a go on dumbo, even if its a child based ride. Children will go mad with the controls i.e up and down and up and down.
It's a Small World - Warning you will not get the tune out of your head, my children drove me crazy. A boat ride visiting dolls from different countries. Better than i thought it would be.
Mad Tea Party - Teacups ride, you will get very dizzy.
The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh - This is such a cute little ride in hunny pots, visit pooh and his friends.
Peter Pan's Flight- Fly with Peterpan to neverland in flying boats, this was more than i was expecting.
Snow White's Scary Adventures - Can be scarey for the little ones so bewared. its very dark for some reason. Your in little cars and meet the dwarfs etc.
The Barnstormer at Goofy's Wiseacre Farm - A goofy mini rollercoaster, very cute.
Astro Orbiter - Go round and round in little space ships high above the ground. Very high up, too high for me.
Stitch's Great Escape - I could not stop laughing it was just so funny, lots of surprises. Its best not to give this experience away it adds to the drama.
Tomorrowland Indy Speedway - Okay if you get a good car, mine was so slow. This is a race track with mini indy cars you can race round the track.
Space Mountain - An indoor roller coaster which was really cool, we went on this several times. If you don't like the dark and flashy lights aviod.
Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin - I love this ride, you help buzz save the planet by shoting targets, you get a score at the end of the ride.
Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress - Found this very boring but others may not. Its a musical comedy show about the impact of technological progression.
Tomorrowland Transit Authority - You sit in little coal cars (my description) and travel around Tomarrowland, you can see a little of inside space mountain.
Enchanted Tiki Room - An animated Bird show, was very very funny, was more than i expected. Some of the jokes go way over the childrens heads but they all seemed happy.
Mickey?s PhilharMagic - This is just an outstanding 3D show (you wear glasses) you feel totally about of the journey, plenty of surprise along the way.
