Marineland (Antibes, France)

Reading the first review has prompted me to register and post one of my own. I visited Marine Land in July and despite the steep admission fee, 124 euro for 2 adults and 2 children, I would strongly recommend a visit. All the animal encosures were immaculate and obviously well kept. The shark tunnel was an experience not to be missed and I had to practically bribe my kids to get them out. The seal, dolphin,and whale displays were stunning and we even went to see one of them twice. WE did find, however, that you need to be their at least 15 minutes before the show starts to get a good seat. My one critcism would be that picnics are not ...

I thought places like this were outlawed all over the world, let alone in France, supposedly a first world country. On first impressions, the place looks clean and tidy, there's a brand spanking new pool complex for the Killer Whales and the Dolphin compound looks lovely. However, the shows proved to be something else. Now I've been to Florida and done Seaworld, so I may be biased here, but the "entertainment" provided by the Whale & Dolphin Shows was third rate.
