Mundomar (Benidorm, Spain)

I was at Mundomar, Benidorm on Sunday. We were in Spain with my parents so I took my dad for fathers day along with my three year old and my mum. Mundomar is an animal park up on the hills on the outskirts of the bustling Benidorm. Benidorm itself seems to be surrounded by theme parks and Mundomar itself is indeed situated next door to Aqualandia water park. Mundomar translates as Seaworld but there are other animals here too, lemurs, monkeys, parrots, tucans and bats for example as well as all the marine life. What a lovely park! Be prepared and wear comfortable shoes or flip flops you will be able to walk around in for at least a good few hours. Do not be fooled this animal/entertainment park is huge! This place is great for young couples, small and large families. The entertainers (mainly people dressed as parrots) are brilliant with kids - even the adults they are not afraid to come and give you a big hug and have a picture taken. Mundomar is an animal park just outside Benidorm, it is cheaper to book earlier via a ticket agent or online before you go. The main Show is the Dolphins. This consists of a 40 minute water ballet involving dolpins and synchronized swimmers. The lagoon has flamingos and giant turtles. There is a varied collection of reptiles, together with in-depth information on their biology and habitat. (Great for kids) In the aviory there is a range of exotic bied. Mundomar is an animal park situated on the hills on the outskirts of Benidorm. It is a refreshing change from the many bars and clubs in the resort and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. There are many theme parks and attractions in this area but I would definitely suggest this as one to go to. The park is spread over a hill and therefore anyone with mobility problems should contact the park in advance because they may have some difficulties.
