Asterix- far better than Disney! (Parc Asterix)

Disadvantages: not the biggest parc in the world...

We visited Parc Asterix in June of 2006 and had a ball. There were 4 adults, 4 teenagers and a 10 year old which meant that we were a group pretty unsuited to Disney. As we were further north than Disney, it seemed like a good option.

We were so impressed! There were loads of rides to suit teenagers/adults including a rollercoaster that went forwards then backwards which was a bit of a shock!

Entry price was pretty reasonable, i think because they are in competition with Disney (such a bit brand) that they had to make things mre reasonably priced. They had lovely picnic areas and lockers for your things which were really convenient.

It was Astarix themed which you may find a bit weird but it was hardly noticable and not reallyy laid on as thick as most theme parks.

We didn't eat in the park, we had brought out own picnic but didn't hear any complaints.

Summary: MUCH better than Disney...in EVERY way!
