I recently visited Southport Pleasure Land for the first time in 10 years and it turned out to be good value for money. It was well within walking distance of the train station (which was also cheap)and the local McDonalds, and there are a number of good rides within the best obviosly being the traumatizer, which could rival Alton Towers' Nemesis if it was a bit bigger. There were also a number of other top quality rides one such ride being Chaos and also the mine train. So a day out including entry, train and McDonalds for under 20 quid, money well spent. ...

This summer was the first time i had visited pleasureland southport and i was pleasantly surprised. First of all , the rides : TraumaTIZER - A great inverted rollercoaster, like the Nemesis at Alton Towers. Well worth the admission price alone Cyclone - A good old fashioned wooden rollercoaster which even smallish children can ride. It has great views. King Solomin's Mines - A fast mine cart rollercoaster Chaos - A weird, one of a kind ride, but brilliant all the same. You are spun upside down and around many times There are also many other rides for both adults and children including a log flume and another rollercoaster for older people and ...
