Seaworld Adventure Park (Florida)

Seaworld is a theme park dedicated to the inhabitants of the worls oceans. It is located about 20 minutes drive from Disney World. I have been lucky enough to visit Seaworld many times and have aways had a good time, however over the years i have found some of the changes made have made the park over priced for my liking (and in Orlando thats saying something!) and therefore will not be visiting on my next trip. Seaworld, Orlando is part of the Anheuser-Busch Corporation. It offers a refreshing change from the other major theme-parks in the area and is a definitely worth a visit. Seaworld is easy to locate at the Southern end of International drive, it is well sign-posted and there is parking for over 6000 vehicles. For visitors parking in the farthest lots there is a tram car to take them to the entrance and more importantly to return them to their cars after a busy and tiring day. Seaworld is a park/attraction in Orlando, Florida. It is where the fanous Shamu the killer whale puts on his displays, along with the rest of the killer whale family. (Don't sit near the front, if you don't want to get soaked!) It has dolphin shows, sea lions and even a pets show, featuring cats, dogs, birds etc (all rescue animals) performing tricks. They catch balls, perform acrobatic and there are even some feline tight rope walkers. I'm a big animal lover and was a bit wary at first of seeing wild animals performing tricks but they do seem to be well treated. I was a bit disappointed in Seaworld, I had great hopes for our visit there, but it all fell a bit flat. Attractions ********* Firstly the rides, there are three rides, but unfortunately we only got to go on one, because my daughter isn't all enough for the other two. So we went on Journey to Atlantis a couple of times, which is a log flume style ride, with a couple of decent drops, the kids enjoyed it too, so it gets a thumbs up. Seaworld is one of the many wonderful theme parks that is in Orlando and trust me, having been there myself many times it truly is one of the best! Very much like all of the other Orlando parks the atmosphere is just incredible and it can be experienced no where else but here. The facilities are just exceptional with everything being perfectly organised and 100% clean. Now perhaps the most famous part of Seaworld is the shows which I will explain soon. Shamu is the famous Killer Whale and Seaworld has these incredible shows throughout the day including fireworks right at the end (rather like Disney).
