Advantages: Brilliant shamu show with 2 good rides soon to be three

Disadvantages: Only two good rides, not a theme park more for the show lovers

I returned last weekend from my holiday to Orlando Florida and one of the many parks i went to is Sea World. The main attraction for us was obviously the Shamu show which as a quick word on it, the show was amazing! While the park was a good full day out it was my personally the worst park i went too. I like fast rides with thrills and spills and with only 2 decent rides in this park it wasnt for me, Although they do have a new ride being build as we speak named Manta which looks very good which will probably make this park better. The two main rides that i enjoyed their was :

Kraken : This is a very fast ride with a very big drop at the start where it looks like your heading into the water. Also what i liked about this ride is that the begging climb usually are slow, this ride has a fast climb up and the ride lasts a good minute which is another plus point.

Journey to atlantis : Now i dont like water rides but i LOVED! this ride. Its more than just water. The drop down is huge, i was really quite scared about this as i hate getting wet in my clothes, i went down it got the bottom and to my suprise as i was sitting at the front i wasnt that wet i was relieved, but watch out for the nex tiny drop. The water crashes up against a wall and SOAKS! you. After that i thought it was over but it takes you in doors and suddenly turns into a high speed roller coaster which twists and turns you around before splashing into more water with only a tiny bar to hold onto, you feel quite un safe but thats what probably makes it so exciting.

Wild Arctic ride : Its a simulator ride which i found quite good as it took you on a journey through the arctic but it made me feel reall sick when i got off.

I rode both the Kraken and Journey to Atlantis rides five times each as the park was really un busy in February but if i had to queue for more than an hour in the height of the summer for these rides then i may not have enjoyed them so much.

The shows are the big attractions to this park :

Shamu show believe : A brilliant show with Shamu and the family. With tricks you wouldnt believe is possible with the whale trainers. From going under the water and the whale trainer being held high in the air on the mouth of the whale too being chucked from the whales mouth across the stage and into the water the other side. Be warned though if you sit in the soak area, be prepared to be soaked and shown up on the big tv, if your in the dry area like i was, its funny to laugh at them lot :)

Clyde and Seamore take pirate island : A very funny and enjoyable for the whole family seal show. Mind out the for the mine act infront of the stage mocking everyone as you take your seat.

Other things you can do there is touch dolphins and i think the chance to swim with them but i didnt do that i just touched them as they swam past. Another thing to do it look at all the sharks in the shark tanks and pay to feed them which is fun.

Also while you are their go to the healthy sandiwich shop its very expensive but nice and the ice cream stand next door do the best ice creams in a waffle cone :)

Summary: A good day out for the family and get to see the world famous shamu show
