Advantages: Loads of animals that you dont see often

Disadvantages: Expensive - not enough to do for a full day

Seaworld is a theme park dedicated to the inhabitants of the worls oceans. It is located about 20 minutes drive from Disney World.
I have been lucky enough to visit Seaworld many times and have aways had a good time, however over the years i have found some of the changes made have made the park over priced for my liking (and in Orlando thats saying something!) and therefore will not be visiting on my next trip.
However that being said, for anyone who hasnt been or hasnt done it as many times as i have then it is definately worth a visit! Seaworld is very expensive for admission if you buy on the day so its worth getting a ticket in advance or as park of a ticket package with other parks.
Unlike the other theme parks in Orlando, Seaworld is not really divided into lands although similar things are grouped nearer each other.
As you would expect seaworld has a wide range of animal related attractions including a penguin and puffin encounter(penguins are my favourite so i always head over to this one!) Shark encounter, Turtles, Stingrays, Sealions and Seals, Dolphins and Manatees.
There are 2 seperate areas for the Dolphins - the main area where you feed and see the adult dolphins and a dolphin nursary where the baby dolphins are - i prefer the baby dolphins as the "misbehave" and are more entertaining!. The Manatee area is rescued manatees and it tells you all about the problems they have living in the wild. Id never seen a Manatee before i visited this park!
The park also has quite a few really good rides for those thrill seekers! Firstly is Journey to Atlantis - a water coaster! This is such a good ride! When you get in it looks just like any other log flume type ride, you go through the mythical land of Atlantis before heading down a large drop (you do get soaked on this ride - just not when you expect it!) After the dop you head back up into the building - this is when you notice you are on a rollercoaster track - as you enter the building it goes through a few twists and turns before dropping back into water as a log flume again.
The other major atttraction is Kraken - a floorless rollercoaster! Its amazingly high and very fast! Not for the faint hearted this one! But one of my favourite rollercoasters! My other favourite attraction is wild artic - which is a simulator ride around the arctic - suitable for everyone. Once the ride is finished you exit into a arctic area with beluga wales and polar bears.
Aswell as all the above attractions seaworld has a large variety of shows - a wale and dolphin show, pets ahoy (cats and dogs etc) Clyde and Seamore - a must see sealion and otter show! this is hilariously funny but get there early and watch the mime that stands at the front of the audience! and of course the legendary shamu show!
All in all the park is worth a visit - especially if you have never visited before! I ahve just never been able to spend more than about 5 or 6 hours at this park and find that its quite expensive for that amount of time - other than that its a great park!

Summary: Relaxing park compared to the others!
