Sundown Adventureland

One of the best theme parks for younger children this place is so magical especially at christmas,with so much to do.My older children are teenagers and cant wait to use my toddler son as an excuse to visit again, the santa ride is a must for children and adults alike.The park is spread over a large area but you dont notice how far you walk as there is so much to see and do, we particularly like the santa ride(the little mice on the way through are really sweet, not real I may add but like sylvanian families in real life setups) you really need to see this.We also like the soft play area indoors,a jungle area for older ones,bouncy castles,soft areas for tinies,a cafe for ...

After reading the reviews here about Sundown. My wife and I decided to give it a try as a treat for our 4 and 7 year old nieces little girls.

We were not disappointed either. Pack the car up chuck the kids in the back and get down here for a great day out.

We followed advice and packed a large picnic which was devoured by two very hungry girls who spent all day charging about and having a real fun day as we all did.

End of the day two well worn out happy girls - both asleep within 5 minutes of strapping them back in the car for our journey home.

The whole place was also spotless. With staff emptying bins and picking up any stray rubbish that they came across.Toilets were also very clean and well maintained.

Sundown Adventureland is a childrens theme park in Nottinghamshire. Its about 30 minutes down the road from where I live in Doncaster. It used to be known as Pets Corner and although I can't remember, I believe I went on a school trip as a kid. A friend of mine told me about how she used to take her daughter there every Christmas to see Santa and how its a great place for the kids.
