When our local playgroup suggested a trip to Pets corner recently we all put our names down happily as we had all enjoyed trips there as children,when we arrived we discovered it had changed it's name to Sandown Adventureland it was excellent a real treat for the under fives we were taking,we started at the story bookland where you and the children can go into the little story book cottages of the three bears, the three little pigs and of course grandmas cottage where the wolf was! All the children loved it and ran in and out,the attention to detail was amazing even the gingerbread cottage had a cage!I really liked the fact that it does not have loads of rides you have to que up for hours to on it has only three rides,santas sleigh which is a ride around a christmas wonderland and the runaway train which goes around in a circle not too fast and the little water ride which has pirates squirting water as you go round the aim is poor though so don't worry! We did'nt have to que very long as the rides only last a few minutes so poeple were on and off quite quickly. The interactive stuf was great in the market squae the stalls had fish who sang when you touched them and even singing fruit! They do still have a few animals rabbits,guinea pigs a goat and a couple of donkeys but there is so much to do our kids particularly loved the giant sandpit complete with little tykes pirate ship..the list of things to do is endless,steer clear of the fast food places very exspensive and they do have brilliant pic-nic grounds with little parks,we went at the start of the holidays and it was packed but still a brilliant day out!
