Sundown Adventureland is a theme park aimed at younger children. It was opened in 1968 and is still run by the same family. My children were three and four when we went this year and they both loved it. I don't think the park would be suitable for teenage children as the rides and attractions are aimed at a much younger ...

Sundown is a great place to take your younger kids. It is one of a few theme parks that is aimed at younger children. Since we were told about the place we have been back every year. There is plenty to do and you will always find something to keep your children entertained. The water ride in the tub is one ride that the kids love. As ...

After reading the reviews here about Sundown. My wife and I decided to give it a try as a treat for our 4 and 7 year old nieces little girls.
We were not disappointed either. Pack the car up chuck the kids in the back and get down here for a great day out.
We followed advice and packed a large picnic which was devoured by two very hungry girls who spent all day charging about and having a real fun day as we all did.
End of the day two well worn out happy girls - both asleep within 5 minutes of strapping them back in the car for our journey home.
The whole place was also spotless. With staff emptying bins and picking up any stray rubbish that they came across.Toilets were also very clean and well maintained.
Looking forward to our next visit.

Sundown Adventureland is a childrens theme park in Nottinghamshire. Its about 30 minutes down the road from where I live in Doncaster. It used to be known as Pets Corner and although I can't remember, I believe I went on a school trip as a kid. A friend of mine told me about how she used to take her daughter there every Christmas to see Santa and ...

Three months ago I hadn’t heard of Sundown Adventureland and then in the space a week, 2 separate friends of mine recommended it as a good day out for young children. The park advertises itself as “the theme park uniquely designed for the under 10s” so don’t expect thrill-a-minute white knuckle rides. However, if you’re looking for a fun day out ...

Everybody seems to be concentrating on commenting on Sundown in Summer. My local toddler group visited Sundown instead of having a Christmas Party. Santa can be found in his Grotto with Mother Christmas. A present was included in the entrance fee cost. We could even see Santa in small groups. I took my son in with two of his friends. ...

If you've got kiddo's between the ages of 2 and 10 then this is the place for you. Sundown is a privately owned theme park with a difference. No mass commercialism here, just good old fashioned fun. There's The Storybook Village where the fairy tales come to life in little child-sized cottages, the Boozy Barrel Boat Ride ...
