Advantages: 2 Not bad rollercoasters and a good water ride

Disadvantages: hardly any rides and most of them closed

I was shocked to see that all previous reviews of this park were 5stars! Obviously these are people who have never visited another theme park in their lives!

This theme park is atrocious. At least half of the rides were closed when I visited, and those which were opened often ran at half capacity (eg. El vuelo del Fenix is a large tower ride with 4 passenger sections however only 1 was running when I visited). I would say this park is the start of a good theme park but it is a million miles from being finished. Despite not usually being a fan of water rides usually, I thoroughly enjoyed the Cataratas del Nilo which is an Egyptian themed log flume ride where at one point you go backwards down a drop! Most of the rides however, were no better than your average travelling fair and there simply wasnt enough rides to fill the day. We stayed at the park for just over an hour before running out of things to do.

Our tickets cost 26euros each having been given money off vouchers. The normal price being 34euros for an adult. I think this is ridiculously over priced even at the discounted price. Anyone who has been to any of the major theme parks in the UK or USA will find this a massive disappointment and I would advise you to give this park a miss. There are several other much better amusement parks in the area.

I would however say this would be a good place to take very small children as there are quite a few little rides which they would enjoy, but anyone over the age of about 10 will get bored very quickly.

If you do decide to go to the park regardless, Id suggest you print a map of the place from the internet as there were NO maps placed through the park and I did not see any free handout versions which are custom in every other park Ive been to. Another thing which disappointed me was the advertisement of 'Halloween 08' at the park which implied there would be special theme throughout the park, but there was no sign of this at all. At other parks I have came across whole rides rethemed for particular seasons.

I am a huge theme park fan and have been to many all over the world and I can honestly say this is the worst I have ever visited. If you plan on visiting Spain there is a much better park in Salou.

Summary: Overpriced rip off of a park. Go elsewhere
