Tivoli Gardens - Copenhagen We recently spent a pleasant weekend in Copenhagen and one of the most popular attractions in that lovely city is the Tivoli Pleasure Gardens. Hard to avoid it occupies a prime site and is usually Chapter One in most guide books. Before travelling I'd read mixed reviews of the gardens; some eulogised it as a timeless paradise, others claimed it was over-hyped, over crowded and over priced. Although I had severe misgivings I'm firmly of the opinion that if you're going to visit a city as a tourist you should at least try the main tourist attractions and form your own opinions.
