Tivoli

I have visited Denmark quite a few times, and on a few of my visits to Copenhagen I visit the Tivoli Gardens, which is one of the oldest theme parks, and it is set in the centre of the town, so easily accessible. Unlike many of the modern day theme parks, Tivoli is in a completely different league of its own. When I first visited I was in awe of the surroundings. It is such a beautiful place, I would happily visit even if it wasn't a theme park. Tivoli Gardens - Copenhagen We recently spent a pleasant weekend in Copenhagen and one of the most popular attractions in that lovely city is the Tivoli Pleasure Gardens. Hard to avoid it occupies a prime site and is usually Chapter One in most guide books. Before travelling I'd read mixed reviews of the gardens; some eulogised it as a timeless paradise, others claimed it was over-hyped, over crowded and over priced.
