Advantages: Is a bit different from your usual water park

Disadvantages: it gets very crowded and food and drink is expensive

Typhoon Lagoon is one of two water parks at disney, the other being Blizzard beach. This is an excellent water park which is very family orientated.
When you arrive you walk througha beack type walk way filled with palm trees and stalls, selling refillable drinks mug at $12 each. This is unlimited drinks so one to share should be enough for you, and a couple of money saving tips are that if you take your refillable mug back either to typhoon lagoon or blizzrd beach you are able to get a new sticker for only $6. There is the locker stall where it cist roughly $5 to rent for the day. Once changed in the open plan changing rooms you can walk round to scope out a spot, there is lots a space and the sunbed areas are generally quite shaded. It is pretty much to leave your towel and refillable mug underneather you sunbed and go and enjoy the rides.

The main pool is the wave pool which produces 7ft waves every 90seconds, these are really good fun and unlike anyother wave pool i have ever been to. You can if you wish to pay $120 each take surfing lessons in the morning in this pool before the park actually opens.

Other main attractions include the shark reef where you are given snorkelling equipment (life vest are provided fort hose who are not strong swimmers) and put in to a rather cold salt water area which is full a sharks, albit very small sharks but sharks none the less and other tropical fish, you generally are herded in a straight lineas there are so many people in at one time you cant really stop to linger, if you attend first thing when the park opens you get a better chance of seeing alot more.

Crusher GUsher is the main slide which claims to be a water rollercoaster, it is a tube ride and you can ride with a partner. It is rather good and if your lucky you, the photo pass people stand at the bottom and take your picture as you come down, all though dont rely on this as they are few and far between in the water parks, you can pick up cheap enough dispoable waterproof cameras.

The rest of the park includes your usual lazy river and family rides not very different from any other water park.

Prices do vary depending on what tickets you have for disney, for the british it is included in the ultimate ticket.

Summary: really good water park

A spell check and grammar check would make this more readable
