I have visited Florida on 5 occasions and it was only the last time I went that I actually went to Typhoon Lagoon.
As there are other water parks like River country and blizzard beach, and outside of disney there are others too, I never got round round to visiting the park.
I had no idea what I was missing out on! When I got there I had a look round and discovered a giant pool by the centerpiece-a large shipwrecked wooden boat. I hear an almighty band, followed by playful screams, when I galnced over at the pool i spooted an enormous tidal wave sweeping down the pool, it was amazing the size of this thing, people were actually surfing on it with surf-boards and body-boards.
If this seems a little intense for you, do not be put off by the park as there's plenty of other things to do. If you want to relax a bit there's thousands of sunbeds in this tropical setting. I personally found it relaxing at the cove where you can snorkal by a giant sub-marine with babysharks and exotic reefs.
There's also many water slides for all ages, and some for the whole family to ride together in one big ring.
So while visiting Florida, this is a park not to be missed!!!
