I recently visited Typhoon Lagoon for the first time. Having never been to any sort of water park before, I really didn't know what to expect. I'm not very adventurous with theme park rides, and extreme sports, but even I was able to have a wonderful time. I tried the Humunga Kowabunga, an extremely high and fast water chute, and the Crush 'n ...  Read the complete review

Typhoon Lagoon is Walt Disney Worlds 2nd water park. It was opened June 1989 and replace Disney River Country which was closed due to water regulations and other issue with the park. The story around Typhoon Lagoon is well known. A Typhoon that wreaked havoc upon a formerly pristine tropical paradise. Ships, fishing gear, and surfboards ...  Read the complete review

Disney has two water parks - Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. Of the two I would say that Typhoon Lagoon was my favourite. Usually when we go to a water park it is really crowded and difficult to find a spot to lay your towels etc, however we did not find that here. All around the park there are plenty of shady spots where, once you ...  Read the complete review

Typhoon Lagoon is a fantastic place to spend a whole day or even just a couple of hours. The parking is free and if you have bought one of the 14 day disney park tickets there is unlimited access throught these days. The lazy river around the perimeter of the park is one of my favourites, not forgetting the shark reef where you can snorkle ...  Read the complete review

Typhoon Lagoon is one of two water parks at disney, the other being Blizzard beach. This is an excellent water park which is very family orientated. When you arrive you walk througha beack type walk way filled with palm trees and stalls, selling refillable drinks mug at $12 each. This is unlimited drinks so one to share should be enough ...  Read the complete review

On our trip to disney land last year we visited typhoon lagoon for a day of fun in the water and that is exactly what we got, there is so much going on there you can never run out of things to do. There are nine water slides there with varying degrees of fright as you go down them , they all have height restrictions of over 48inches ...  Read the complete review

Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water Park is a wonderful place to spend a relaxing day after the madness of the theme parks. We spent a fantastic day, under the shade of trees, basking by the lagoon. There are plenty of sun loungers and chairs to be had. The lazy river that circles the whole park is a great way to 'chill out'. Ques for water slides ...  Read the complete review

The first theme park on my trip to Orlando was Typhoon Lagoon. I had last been there in about 1992 so was interested to see it again. Typhoon Lagoon is part of the Disney family and was opened in 1989. The idea behind the park is that it was created as the result of a huge storm which caused the rapids to form and the boats to be blown there ...  Read the complete review

It's been a few years since I was at Typhoon Lagoon, but I still remember almost every detail. I was touring Orlando with my parents, and we bought Hopper passes which were great because we went to Typhoon Lagoon in the day, and then toured Epcot at night. It's important to note that we went mid January, which was great because the ...  Read the complete review

Typhoon Lagoon is one of the three water parks held in the Disney Park area. The others ones are Blizzard Beach and River Country. I have to say though this was my favourite of the two. Typhoon Lagoon is the brilliant Disney water park in Florida (unlike Blizzard Beach, but that is another story) and it even has its little "story": years ago, a hurricane a typhoon and a tornado converged into what is now Typhoon Lagoon and wreaked havoc on the little resort that used to be there. The weather was so wild that it even ...  Read the complete review

Typhoon Lagoon is one of Disney’s three water parks, and in my opinion the best of the three. During our recent trip to Florida we visited twice and we all had a great time there. Basically Typhoon Lagoon (TL) is Disney's untypical version of a typical water park themed in a tropical island setting. The park contains all of the ...  Read the complete review
