UK & Eire in generalNewest Review: ... the room which I found was rather impressive. Everything in the room was very good and the main thing was that it was very clean. -*-*- Day 1 -*-*- After a well earned rest we were ready to start exploring Ireland and our first plan was to go to the little and quiet village of Glendeloche which was the type of Ireland I was hoping to get to... Glendeloche - Pronounced Glen - der lock, you may be familiar that Ireland has a lot of history behind it and one of the great stories was the story on St. Kevin he was a monk and his monastery was in Glendeloche, he educated himself and all of his life he studied biblical scriptures, when we were a... more |

I am writing this review on my latest and greatest holiday, I say abroad which is kind of true but actually I am going to the republic of Ireland, as I am writing this review I'm on holiday and writing it on my pocket PC. This is not such a 'review' it is more about what I did, a diary. I am going to Ireland with all my family except my dad because he couldn't get the time off work but we went with my Nan as part of a birthday present. -*-*- Setting off -*-*- We had to set off really early on the Friday morning about 6am but we had to get to the boat for am (in case you hadn't gathered we are sailing to Dublin) we got to the boat at about half 7 which ... If you have read my opinions on Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park, Blackgang Chine and Robin Hill Country Park then you will already know that my family and I are great lovers of the beautiful Isle of Wight. There are many reasons why we are attracted to the Island but some of the main reasons why we keep returning are because the Island is a very beautiful place and one of the few places in England today that remains unspoilt and has not become overdeveloped, there is still a vast amount of breathtaking scenery to enjoy and lots of coastal footpaths and other walks taking you further inland if you wish. Having said that the Isle of Wight is also home to a huge amount of ... Read the complete review

With all the bargains and deals going on around the theme park industry I am here to explain about the best one by far. What you do is pay 70 pounds at the entrance of any of the theme parks about to be mentioned or go to chessington.co.uk. You get a pass to over 10 theme parks around europe including alton towers, chessington and thorpe park just in the Uk. The pass doesn't just do theme parks too it has passes for the London eye, Warick castle, Madame Tussauds and London planetarium. I cannot write that the pass is exellent because I don't actually have it but it gets you to the front of the queue at the entrance of the exhibitions. Even if you just ... Read the complete review

Pleasure Island is very good value, only £9 for a full day! The rides are first class. There is a boomerang rollercoaster where you go backwards, another rollercoaster where you go upside down, a launch type ride which lauches you 40 ft and an upside down pirate ship. There are many shows on around the park all day long and the food is cheap and tastes great. Although it can be busy at weekends or in the holidays, if you go off-peak you won't have to queue at all. ... Read the complete review

Have just returned from Crealys Adventure Park located approximatly 5 miles from Exeter on the road to Budleigh Salterton. For £5.25 per person all ages above 2 pay the same price, yoiu get inclusive entrance to virtually all rides and activities. Inside you can try your hand at cow milking and pottery painting. The park is made up of 5 different 'realms' adventure, kids, farm to name three. Recently opened is the 'El Pastil Loco' a mini runaway train. My advice is go on it as soon as you can as the queues can get long. There is also Go Karts £2 per kart, bumper boats, indoor and outdoor adventure playgrounds, death slides, ...
