... was a bit of a trek for us down to Windsor from Yorkshire however our trip to Legoland was worth every minute. Knockhatch Adventure Park ... I m down in Sunny Sussex on my holidays again, and today we decided to visit Knockhatch Adventture Park, on the outskirts of Eastbourne, off the A22. We, of course, being myself, my boyfriend, and my six year old daughter . It didn t take us long to drive there from Eastbourne, although we were slightly delayed by a diversion due to the filming on the pier of the remake of Brighton Rocks. The carparking was free, although getting to the carpark required driving down a very narrow country lane that could easily be missed . Legoland Windsor ... is quite surprising that, since we only live about twenty minutes away from Legoland, Windsor, that yesterday was the first time that we had taken our six and four year old daughters for a visit! I think this was partly because it is quite an expensive place to visit, but also because I didn t want the girls becoming too caught up with all the thrills and spills and being less likely to be content with some less exciting attractions such as our local park! Legoland is on the B3022 Windsor/Ascot road just two miles from Windsor town centre. Drayton Manor ... Manor is a theme park situated in Staffordshire, just north of Birmingham. It is close to Junction 9 of the M42 on the A4091 and Exit T2 of the M6 Toll. The address is: Drayton Manor Park, Nr. Tamworth, Staffordshire, B78 3TW. The park is split into three sections - the main theme park, with more adult-type rollercoaster rides, the zoo and Thomas Land. We went mainly for Thomas Land, as we have a two year old daughter, who is mad about Thomas and his friends.
