Advantages: Clean and tidy park with great rides and shows. Including starbucks

Disadvantages: Cant think of any

I returned from my holiday to Florida last weekend and one of the many parks we went to was Universal Studios. Universal Studios is joined with Island of adventure but i will review them seperately as there is so much to write about them both. The whole place is clean and tidy with a nice friendly feel. Character fro various universal films such as Spiderman, Shrek etc are always walking around the park and more than happy to pose for photos. There are alot of refreshment stands and toilets around the park of a good clean and tidy standard. The main attactions are obviously the rides and shows and here are my reviews of the main ones.

The Simpsons ride : This is a simulator ride which is very cleverly done. Its made to look like you are on a roller coaster with the simpson charracters which breaks and you ride through springfield. Its an amazing ride which you just dont expect and cant help but admire the cleverness of it.

The revenge of the mummy : This was my favourite ride. The thing about this ride is in the queue its a big build up and its a dark area which tries to scare you. They have employed a man to walk around in the queue and stare at you ironicaly called "Happy". The ride its self is very fast in pitch black and rides you around backwards down big drops and loops.

Jaws : A very clever boat ride. Its starts out like your just going for a boat ride around the set of the film jaws when a shark pops out the water to scare you and the boat driver has to kill so you can return safely. A very clever ride with a scary element to it.

E.T Adventure : Un suprisingly another clever ride all the rides in this park and clever and very wel thought out. This one is slow moving ride with visual things to look at, yo sit on a bike which floats you through the air.

Men in black : An interactive ride which you have to zap aliens as you go round to score point. Another very clever ride.

Shrek 3-D - A 3-D showing of the much loved Shrek. Its a cinema style lay out with your seat rocking and water and air spraying in your face and feet as Shrek and donkey go on an adventure to win back his princess.

Terminator 3-D : Same as shrek but with the terminator as they cleverly use live actors on the stage and iteract it with a 3-D background on the stage.

Disaster - Get into the movies and become an extra in a disaster movie and possibly the leading act. Very funny, very clever ride,show as you ride a train which crashes and it turns into a movie starring you. Great ride for the family.

Jimmy Neutron's nicktoon blast - Honestly ride this ride. Its a simulator which i thought would be very babyish but as you ride through the rugrats, spongebob etc shows with the simulator rocking you bout to the chicken dance. Its very funny and worth a ride.

The live shows:

The Horror make up show : Go behind the horror films with this show with an expert make up artist who shows you how they make the horror shows look how they do. Its very funny as they pick on people in the audience. As you walk in though watch out for the old lady scarring peope with the rotting arm :)

Blues Brothers - On the streets they have a blue brothers band playing, everytime this was on it got a real gathering, it was brilliant and very enjoayable.

Another massive plus point about this park... It has a starbucks :)

There is plenty more rides and shows, including a new ride which looks massive which is un finished yet but we heard should be finished in june, but these where a pick of my favourites.
