Universal's Islands of Adventure is a theme park located in Florida which opened in May 1999. The park was an expansion that changed the original Universal Studios Florida into a resort to rivel Disney World. The park theme is of a journey of exploration. Guests depart from a main port on to five "islands," each having its own ... Read the complete review

I have visited Universal Island of Adventure on numerous occasions in the last 5 years. In my opinion, it is the best park in Orlando for thrill rides. The park is divided into 5 islands: Marvel Super Hero Island, Seuss Landing, Jurassic Park, The Lost Continent and Toon Lagoon. There are many headliner rides throughout the park, some of ... Universal Studios Islands of Adventure is the second part of the Universal experience. The Islands of Adventure are accessed from the same car parks as Universal Studios, but after passing the bag check area you need to turn left at the city walk rather than right. The party is split into six areas, Marvel Super Heroes, Toon Lagoon, ... Read the complete review

When I went to Orlando Florida a few years ago, there was one park that really stood out from the rest and this was islands of adventure, this park has the most fearsome rides in a beautiful and colourful environment. As soon as you walk through the entrance you are faced with the massive hulk ride, and this was the first ride I went ... Read the complete review

INTRODUCTION We visited Islands of Adventure on a Monday and it was much less busy than a Saturday. There are five differently themed 'lands' or islands with a lake in the middle. You walk around them all in a big circle, there are bridges connecting them etc. I think you can also get boats from island to island. The five ... Read the complete review

I last visited Islands Of Adventure about two years ago with some friends, and it is by far the best theme park in florida for thrill rides, also being a childhood fan of marvel comics, i loved the comic themed area of the park, with spiderman, acptain america et al riding around on quads, and entertaining the young kids. the park is split up ... Island's of Adventure is Universal's sister park to Universal Studios and offers and array of exciting attractions and rides. Situated off Universal City walk, Islands of Adventure is the more 'adventurous' park that Universal's Flexticket gives you access to. We bought our Flextickets from Attractions Direct which turned out to be a ... Read the complete review

Islands of adventure is a park which is next door to Universal studios, in Florida. This park had the ride which I think I enjoyed the most. The incredible hulk coaster. The incredible hulk Coaster - The shrek coaster is a huge ride with lots of speed and twists and turns. You get strapped into a chair in rows of 4 and your feet hang ... Read the complete review

Island of Adventure is the sister park to Universal Studios. In my opinon this is the better of the two parks with more roller coaster rides. This ibroken into different park sections which are all really well themed especially the marvel island which is based on all the marvel comics. The kids area is really well done and is based on the dr ... Read the complete review

I admit it - i am a theme park junkie - the scarier the ride, the happer I am. I have visited this park twice in recent years with my parents, brother and my partner. My mum, unlike me, does not enjoy scary rides at all. As Universal Studios is rather full of them we all purchased a Universal Express Plus pass. There are a limited ... Read the complete review

Islands of Adventure is better in my opinion than the actual Universal Studios park in Orlando, this park delivers more of a childish feeling to it but still houses some very impressive rides. The park is divided into five (soon to be 6) areas that are all differently themed, (much like Disneyland). Marvel Super Hero ... Read the complete review

This is my last of my reviews of American theme parks, and I've saved the best park for last. Islands of Adventure (IoA) is part of the Universal Studios group and was built around 12 years ago (they were just building it the last time I had been to Universal). I was in Orlando with 3 friends so we were keen on theme parks with more exciting ... Read the complete review

If you are planning to go to Orlando any time I totally recommend that you do not miss this theme park, as I consider it to be the best one there is in Florida, this is due to the extent of rides all crammed into a huge area, enough for big kids and little kids alike. I would definately recommend purchasing the Express pass when visiting as ... Read the complete review

This is quite simply the best theme park i have ever been to, far better than anything the UK has to offer, and it comfortably beats the other Floridian parks. The 5 islands each have a major ride, with the best two being HULK and Deuling Dragons. Hulk has an unexpected start which you will never forget, similar to stealth at Thorpe park, but on ...
