Orlando has much to offer the theme park/attraction visitor at one end you have Disney and it's parks, at the other end, at the top of International Drive you have The Universal Studios Resort with Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and linking them both City Walk. The Universal Studios Resort may be the poor relation when it comes to ... Read the complete review

Having completed Universal Studions in just under 5 hours we decided to switch over to Islands Of Adventure to see if we could get onto some of the rides, this was a bit of a mistake, we arrived on a Saturday Afternoon and it was jam packed so we decided to familiaries ourself before returning on the Monday when we thought it would be much quieter ... Islands of Adventure was the first theme park that my husband and I visited on our recent trip to Florida. It's meant to be Universal's answer to Disney's Magic Kingdom, or so the guidebooks would have you believe. I thought, however, that it was actually better than Magic Kingdom for a variety of reasons, not least that it lacked the sickeningly ... Read the complete review

This review is just about the Express plus tickets at Universal studios and Islands of adventure. The parks themselves do not need reviewing as the facilities and attractions they offer are vast and it would take an age to complete a detailed review. I can only comment for the peak times at Universal studios or Islands of ... Read the complete review

I travel off-season and my preferred times are May and October – avoiding the half-term school holidays. The parks are not so busy, the weather not so oppressing. A little tip for those of you who plan on going to Orlando on a more regular basis, once or twice a year – because you can’t live without the thrill. When going to the ... Read the complete review

I went to Orlando in late January 2002, with my parents. We had been there twice before, so we wanted to try out the new theme park Islands, first. It is an amazing park, and what's great was at that time of the year, there were no lines, I literally walked right on to the Hulk. Since it's not a busy time of year the parks close ... Florida, the sunshine state and a place that is renowned all over the world as a fun place for all the family. Those of you who have been to Florida and prefer the action packed kind of holiday over lazing on the beach will have undoubtedly visited Universal Studios. The new Busch Gardens Continuing my holiday theme, today I wish to tell you about one of the newest and freshest theme parks in Florida at present. It is Universal Islands of Adventure. We visited Orlando for a two week holiday in June 2002. I went with my husband and two sons - Alex, aged 9, who has Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Nicky, 8 who is mildly autistic. Our visit to Universal Studios Islands of Adventure was at the end of our holiday - and when we were almost "theme-parked ... Read the complete review

The first time I went to Florida which was in 1994, The Universal Studios Islands Of Adventure, was not mentioned anywhere. But on the faithful year of 1996 me and my family discovered something that was going to alter the competition between Orlando's theme parks for years. Universal Studios had opened a sneak preview area ... Read the complete review

For me, this park has turned out to be the best theme park in Orlando. It is owned by Universal and is situated right alongside its first Orlando theme park, Universal Studios. But this park is the most recent addition to the excellent attractions in Orlando and it will certainly pull people away from the mighty Disney parks. Before you could have ... Having just got back from Florida I have got to say that this was the best theme park that we went to. Most of the theme parks are family orientated, which I’m not saying is a bad thing but all of the rides are obviously for familys and there are not a great deal of rollercosters etc. Islands of Adventure on the other hand is mostly made ... Admitedly i went to Islands of Adventure over a year ago. When i went, it was actually open to the general public, but was instead limited to 2000 guests a day, that had already visited Universal Studios Florida. Therefore, we got to ride everything all day with no queues. Bliss!!. But, if you are a true roller coaster fan, here you will ... Read the complete review
