On arrival we waited to pay in a que for half an hour as only two pay kiosks were open, with small kids this is no fun. On entering we found the staff rude and unhelpful making my two year old wake up and get out of her push chair to be measured against a minimum ride height sign then trying to get us to pay for her when she was 10cm under the ... we went camping with our 3 year old daughter and were put on a spacious hard standing pitch, which at first we thought was good as it was so level and they give you a mat to put under your tent, but on erecting our reasonably sized tent, found that the guy ropes didnt reach the grass, so had to hire metal pegs for £20.00 deposit, the mat they ... I have been to this theme park a few of times now usually with my nieces and have to say every time we have been we have had a fantastic day out. The kids absolutly love it, there is loads to do from indoor play areas to outdoor slides & play areas. The park is set in 70 acres of ground & I think they have filled every square ... Park The park offers some good entertainment for all ages, however, no two rangers who monitor all rides to ensure the safety of all its paying customers is always paramount, acts the same, some allow children under the minimum height to ride with an adult or just seem not to bother and allow children on rides irrespective of any ... Woodlands is a leisure park situated in South Devon, near Dartmouth. It has indoor and outdoor attractions, and there is also a neighbouring caravan and camping park of the same name. We visited at the beginning of March 2007, on a chilly, damp Sunday at the end of half term. Getting there Woodlands is well signposted by ... Read the complete review

Wow Wonderful Woodlands is all I can think to start off this review. We (me, hubby, and 2 kids aged 7 and 10) first went to Woodlands last year. I was looking on the internet for a good campsite with some fun stuff to amuse the kids in the Devon or Cornwall area, when I came across the Woodlands site only by chance as a small link from another ... woodland theme parc in Devon is a complete rip off from start to finish, which if you spend a great deal of money to enter and when you get inside find the whole parc flooded with people over a huge area , so buzy that you only get one ride in 6 hours, ques over two hours for most rides, rubbish bins sprawling full, attracting every wasp in ... We have just returned from a weeks camping holiday at Woodlands (Myself, Husband, and sons aged 8 and 3)and have had a fantastic time. The camping area is extremely spacious, clean and well kept. The toilet blocks have won an award for best in Britain or something, and certainly lived up to that. As well as the normal camp site shower/wash ... Read the complete review

We first discovered Woodlands about 8 years ago, when my daughter was 3. She enjoyed it then but we hadn't been back since. Now... wow! If you want to wear you children out and have fun at the same time THIS is the place to go. An attractive woodland setting (hence the name, obviously) with a wide selection of rides, slides and the ... Read the complete review

I have lived in Devon since age 8 and only discovered this little gem at age 21. This is a great place for teenagers and young adults, as well as children. I have heard from older people with young children that it is a living hell for parents though. So if water rides and free-fall slides are not your bag, you will probably be a bit bored. ... It seems that no-one has a good word to say about this horrible place. I went there thinking it would be a good day out, it's one endless hike up and down hills, most of the rides are closed and the poor animals. Their pens and hutches etc are filthy, they stink and don't look like they get fed properly. Their is about two good ... Read the complete review
