I was unfortunate enough to visit Cologne on a very wet weekend, but as soon as it stopped raining we headed to Cologne Zoo. Very easy to get to, just take the S Bahn from the main station heading north. The Zoo itself has its own station, so very simple to find. The entry cost was about Euro13 for adults and about half this price for children. However, if you buy a Cologne Welcome card (which you can purchase at the Tourist Info centre), you will get a reduction.
