Alton Towers, situated in the centre of England, is a theme park resort which includes a theme park, hotel, water park, crazy golf course, full sized golf course and restaraunts.

The park costs £34 for an adult ticket with concessions for children, O.A.Ps and the disabled. Around summer time, you can find a LOT of '2 for 1' vouchers, which essentially means you and a friend get half price entry each! You can find these normally at tescos and on cereal packets in the supermarket.

The Alton Towers theme park is one of, if not THE best theme park in the UK - it's main attractions are:

=NEMESIS=
A sit down rollercoaster where you ride through and around a monsters body on it's 'bones'

=RITA=
A rollercoaster which propells you from 0-60 in less than 5 seconds.

=AIR=
A rollercoaster which you ride facing downwards which makes you feel like flying

=OBLIVION=
A rollercoaster with only one feature to it, a thrilling vertical drop.

All these rides (and the rest of them) are amazing and great fun and are well worth the £16 (with the voucher ;) ) entry fee.
