Advantages: Fast track, single riders.

Disadvantages: Not much

I got one of them Merlin Passes and in this I can go to Alton Towers anytime, get in 1 hour early, get 20% off anything I spend in their shops and food outlets, and get discount on all their specials, like golf, also use the fast track facilty as much as I wish

I went twice with this pass, once with my college mates and again with my family and both times it was great, so I think that this park is good for all ages.

The park looks very big and busy. It is all based around the towers in the grounds of Altom, the reason for the name Alton Towers.

The park is in Staffordshire, and seams a bit out in the woods, but when you get there it's well worth it.

The rides are for all ages, with some for the family, including the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory ride. I also love the fast track which you can buy a ticket for at £8 but you can only use it once and only on certain rides, doing this you can get almost to the front of the queue, also they have a single riders queue on certain rides, these are great if you don't mind risking riding on your own, altho I did this with 3 of us, and we still all got on together.

The food outlets are very good, but you do pay the price.

There are big boards all around the park which tell you how long each ride is, so you can plan your next ride without having to wait.

They also have disabled access in the park, but it's best to contact before hand to make sure everything can be arranged for you.

Summary: Great park for the whole family and of all ages.
