Alton Towers is Amazing! (Alton Towers (Staffordshire))
Member Name: Jo-Jo-Jo
Advantages: All the big rides for adults!! Disadvantages: queuing times, but you get that everywhere i suppose This is one of my favourite places to go in the UK. My partner and i make the annual drive from Scotland down to Alton Towers and usually spend a couple of days in the little village of Alton. My favourites have to be Air, Nemesis and Rita- i have still never (after 5 visits) convinced myself to go on Oblivion. Unlike other theme parks which tend to have 3 or 4 great rides and a bunch of average ones, Alton Towers excells itself by producing more and more exciting and thrilling rollercoasters. Another of my favourites was the new, i'm not sure what it's called, pinball one. That was an experience and a half! I like that they have a seperate area for little kids rides and there are still some big mean adults rollercoasters unlike disney which is 99% aimed at little kids. It speaks volumes that i go pretty much every year! Summary: definitely go!!!! |
