Advantages: great rides lots to choose from

Disadvantages: prices of tickets and food

I live right near Alton Towers in fact only 30 mins drive .

I go near enough every year but i didnt go thi year due to the prices of tickets .

Over the years Alton Towers have crept the prices up and they have got more expensive, i mean its ok if you can get hold of these 2 for 1 offers .

The rides there range from small lids ride up to the more big rides sadly theyve just knocked down one of the best rides that has been there for year and that was cork screw .

The grounds are always kept clean and the staff are friendly enough but in my opinion the staff are over worked .

I think its best to take a packed lunch as the prices of food is really expensive too.

You would think the food would be cheap when you think how much you pay to get in.

They have a newly build hotel which is on site as well as the splash landings .

Again really expensive.

If you stayed in the hotel you can catch the monarail to the park itself rather then walking .

All in all its ok for a one off when it isnt raining of course .
