Great family day out (Alton Towers (Staffordshire))
Member Name: mrsgladwin
Advantages: Great rides, suitabke for almost everyone Disadvantages: Queues can be quite lengthy
The good thing about Alton Towers is it is so easy to obtain half price or 2 for 1 vouchers, so although it can seem pretty pricey, bargains can still be had. Even at full price I have always found Alton Towers worth the money. The range of rides are impressive, there is something for everyone, from children to adults, and scaredy cats to thrill seekers! The rides Oblivion, Nemesis, Air and Rita in particular are worth the admission fee alone, however waiting in long queues for these rides can be frustrating when you're eager to visit the rest of the park. The wet wides such as log flume and ripsaw are also good fun. Summary: Great rides, plenty eating places, fun day out for everyone |
