Advantages: Classic fun day out for the family

Disadvantages: Can be expensive

This has to be one of the best days out there is in the UK. Alton Towers ticks all the boxes and there is something for everyone.

The park is set in massive grounds, so it is not all crammed together, you get a real feeling of space as you walk around. There are different sections to the park, including areas for kids, the gardens, the food courts and plenty of rides. Alton Towers has always prided itself on having the biggest and best rides in the world and it keeps that up, building bigger and better rides every year.

It can be quite an expensice day out, but you can often pick up 2 for 1 offers form a variety of places. If your struggling, check on ebay, there are always vouchers available on there.

Overall this a great day out for the family, while not being cheap, it does tend to be worth every penny!
