I have been going to Alton Towers for years and love it more and more every time I go. I went to the new sealife centre earlier in the month and thought it was great and was really impressed with it.

The ticket prices are quite high but once your in the park there is no additional costs for other rides like you get with some theme parks. If you buy online from their website you save some money aswell on the day prices for an adult is £36 where if you buy online its £29 so a saving of £7. and its £27 on the day for a child and £22 online so its well worth doing.

The food places are really pricey aswell which is a big downside as you end up paying a lot of money for food that isn't overly nice but then again what theme park is cheap?

With regarding the queues it would be best to get a fast track pass as you can cut up to an hour+ of waiting time as some of the queues can be ridiculous especially for the bigger, more popular rides.

The staff are really friendly and are always willing to help with any problems etc.

I stayed in the hotel years ago (when it was fairly new) and thought it was lovely and had a fantastic weekend but it was very very overpriced!

Alton towers has some fantastic rides for adults and for kids and If you went im sure you wouldn't be disappointed!
