Advantages: Good selection of rides, helpful staff

Disadvantages: Gets full very quickly

Alton Towers is a brilliant day, especially for the youngsters, but please make sure they are high enough for some of the more popular rides!
It gets full very quickly, and I suggest that if you are going to visit there, set off early, and get there early, beating all the traffic!
Head straight for the most popular rides, which are located at the back of the park.
Usually, by about 3pm every ride is full no matter where you are!
Don't bother taking packed lunches either - there is a McDonalds there, KFC and various other stands etc.
It may seem expensive to get in, I think it's about £20 for an adult, but once your in, the rest is free (ex food)!
Overall, I would definitly go, the rides are good, its clean, and fun!
Excellent!
