Advantages: loads of white Knuckle rides, great areas to lose the kis for a while

Disadvantages: its all the way in Alton next to no where

i think that alton towers is the best theme park in the country well fair enough i have'nt been to every theme park in the country but you know what i mean (i hope)! Alton towers has loads of rides ranging from the fearsome, bone shaking NEMISIS to the more pleasent squirrel nutkin ride ride for the littler among you. and ofcourse alton towers gives birth to the brand spanking new, terrifying Air where (you have problaly seen from all the tv ads!) you are susspeded a few inches from the groud (in some places) lying horrizontal! yes this ride is deffenatly not for the faint hearted! Alton towers also has the worlds only vertical dropping coaster, the OBLIVION. (its not that good its over in about bloody seconds)! you start off in the station where evryone pile into 2 sets of 2 rowed carrages from there you go up a big hill round a little corner suspended high in the air looking straight down for a few seconds then dropped, underground round a corner and there you go back where you started. on the other hand the nemisis is exelent i have been on it 7 times in my 4 visits to the park and you que up for about three hours before you finnely evan get to the station from there yo sit in the seat where again you are susspended from above this time with nowhere to put your feet. theres a fancy platform that rises and gos down to help you get on and then your off you go up a hill round a corner and then you see the track it looks like a plate of spagetti, its got that many different turns and that. Alton towers also has a load of rides for kids aswell but don't worry im not going to go on and on about hlf them (probably because i havent been on half of them and because it would bore the cr*p out of all you thill seekers.) overall i think that you should go whenever you get the chance because its good for all the family.

Sounds fun but a bit pricey, especially if you have to wait 3 hours to get on a ride!
