So you hear the hype, you visit Alton Towers, and you que for their latest ride- A I R
My first TIP would be to get a DUAL QUE ticket which lets you...well basically pus infront of everyone else in the que. Ok, so you dont enter the que at the ride, but you do avoid the main que to the AIR ride.
The DUAL QUE ticket for Nemesis allows you to push in at more of a distance however, but Nemesis has never impressed me greatly anyhow!

Back to AIR :::::: So you are in the que you see the ride go over head, pass you with the riders on thier backs, and wonder what it will be like to ride it yourself. Well let me tell you now that however many rides I have been on in the Uk, the US and even recently in Spain...NO ROLLERCOASTER has given me the same level of rush as AIR did...again and again as I qued to have another ride on this super ride!

From the time you sit in your uprite position, wondering what will happen next, the adrenalin begins to flow.......then the voice (as with many rides) announces 'ASSUME THE POSITION'...at this point you are taken into a horizontal position as the floors is taken away from under your feet. Then the ride begins.....

Now I could tell you all about the turns and twists of the ride, the rock which I thought I was going to FLY into, the rush as your body is taken around the course feeling as though you are simply flying, but that would spoil the ride for you, and also not justify in any way shape or form the feeling of actually being on AIR..

Do it, do it now, and do it again and again and again........................
