Advantages: so good with disabled people.

Disadvantages: expensive but worth it

I recently visited Alton Towers for a birthday treat there were 16 of us. 2 of which were disabled they were very accomodating for disabled people they gave them a special wristband and used different entrances for the rides and allowed them on first. My favourite ride had to be the oblivion which is a vertical drop into the ground. This was absolutly terrifying the only thing that was a shame was that they would only allow one disabled rider on at a time which I suppose was understandable but it carried 16 and there were 16 of us going on so we could have had the whole ride to ourselves. The whole park is kept very clean and if you don't like rides there are some lovely gardens to walk around. The queueing was no where near as bad as we thought the longest was probably an hour and that was for the water rapids. Which was well worth the wait. Food is quite expensive but there are Mcdonalds there so that would keep the cost down. Forget taking a picnic it really isn't worth the carrying of it. All in All a really good day out make sure you are there when it opens and I guarantee you'll be there till the end.
