Alton towers is in my opinion one of the great theme parks in britain. You will be left with plenty to do and take in during a visit to the park. When first entering the park i was struck by the sheer size of it! It must be at least 3 times as big as thorpe park which meant much bigger rides. A few months ago there was an offer in the Sun newspaper where if you collected a number of tokens and sent them off they would send you two free adult tickets to Alton Towers. The good thing about Alton Towers is it is so easy to obtain half price or 2 for 1 vouchers, so although it can seem pretty pricey, bargains can still be had.
